- 1 stick margarine
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 4 1/2 c. water
- 2 envelopes Lipton chicken noodle soup
- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
Directions

1Saute first four ingredients until almost done.

2Cook next 3 ingredients for 15 minutes.

3Mix all ingredients in 2-quart casserole.

4Add mushrooms, including liquid (if too dry, add 1/2 cup water).

5Bake (covered) at 350° for 1/2 hour (in a glass casserole, bake at 325°).
