  • 1 1/4 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
  • 2 2/3 c. boiling water
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. wild rice
  • 4 tsp. beef instant bouillon
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. long grain rice

Directions

    In a 2 1/2-quart casserole, combine boiling water, wild rice and bouillon; let stand for 15 minutes.

    In large skillet, cook celery, onion and garlic in butter until tender.

    Add to rice mixture with seasonings and long grain rice; mix well.

    Cover and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
