- 4 cups water
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup converted rice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
Directions

1Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.

2Add salt and the rice.

3Stir well.

4Bring to a boil, cover and simmer 17 minutes.

5Drain the rice in a colander.

6Return the rice to the same saucepan and add the butter, lemon juice and pepper.

7Blend gently until the grains are well coated.

8Serve.
