  • 100 g (3.5oz) crispy rice cereal
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 squeeze of lemon juice
  • 200 ml (7fl oz) mayonnaise
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into thick strips

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 200C/gas mark 6 and line a shallow baking sheet with baking parchment.

    Put the cereal in a food bag and crush roughly.

    Now add the paprika, cumin, thyme and salt and mix well.

    Pour onto a plate.

    Mix together the garlic, lemon juice and mayonnaise in a separate bowl.

    Coat the chicken strips in a thin layer of the mayonnaise mix.

    Toss them in the cereal mix and put on the baking sheet one at a time.

    Bake for 1520 minutes until golden, turning half way through cooking.

    Serve with a dollop of tomato ketchup, recklessness and napkins and dont even attempt any healthy side-dish token gestures.
