- 1 1/2 c. water (salted)
- 1 tsp. margarine
- 2/3 c. rice
- 2 slices bacon (sliced thin)
- 1/2 medium onion, diced small
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1 small can tomato sauce
Directions

1Cook the rice with margarine and salt.

2Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer.

3Simmer for 20 minutes (covered).

4Saute bacon and onion.

5Fry hamburger (drain off fat); add curry powder. Combine meat, bacon, onion, rice and small can of tomato sauce. Mix well in a casserole.

6Bake in a 325° oven for 30 minutes.
