- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 qt. milk, scalded
- 1 c. white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. marshmallows
Directions

1Beat eggs; add sugar.

2Let milk cool slightly, then pour egg mixture into milk.

3Add rice and flavoring.

4Pour into well buttered casserole (2-quart).

5Set it in a pan of hot water and bake for 1 hour at 325°.

6Remove from oven and sprinkle marshmallows over top and bake 15 minutes longer.
