Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound ground beef, lean
  • 3/4 pound ground pork lean
  • 1/2 cup rice converted, raw
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup onions minced
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 large eggs slightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

    In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until well blended.

    Pack into a 9x5 inch loaf pan, cover with foil, and bake at 350F (180C).

    for 1 1/2 hrs (removing foil after 30 mins).

    Even when cooked through, meat will still be slightly pink because of the ketchup.

    Drain off fat, and let the meat loaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing to serve.
