- 1 stick butter or less
- thin egg noodles
- 1 can chicken broth
- Carolina long grain cooking rice
Directions

1Melt butter in saucepan.

2Fill bottom of saucepan with egg noodles, one layer crumbled by hand to cover bottom.

3Add chicken broth and enough water for 2 cups liquid.

4Add salt and pepper. Bring to boil and add one cup of rice.

5Stir and then cover.

6Turn to simmer until water is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
