  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup onion
  • 3 cups rice (raw)
  • 2 (8 oz) cans mushroom pieces
  • 3 cups diced celery
  • 3/4 cup celery leaves
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 tsp. marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp. sage
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 6 cups water

    In a 3 quart saucepan, saute rice, onion, mushroom pieces, celery, celery leaves and spices in butter.
