  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cups vermicelli
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup long grain rice

Directions

    heat butter & onion saute on medium until golden

    add noodles, pine nuts & continue to saute until pasta softened. stir often
  3. 3
    add chix broth, boil and then stir in rice
  4. 4
    cover and reduce heat to low for 20 minutes
