  • 3/4 stick butter
  • small diced onion
  • 1 c. long grained rice
  • 1 can beef consomme soup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 small can mushrooms, drained
  • pinch of oregano

Directions

    Melt butter.

    Saute onion.

    Add rice.

    Cook until brown.

    Add soup, water, mushrooms and oregano.

    Stir.

    Add to casserole. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
