- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. orzo
- 1 c. white rice
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- pine nuts (to garnish)
Directions

1Melt butter or margarine over medium heat.

2Add orzo; cook until lightly browned, stirring constantly.

3Stir in rice.

4Add chicken broth, water, salt and pepper.

5Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes until rice is tender and liquid absorbed.

6Sprinkle with pine nuts before serving.
