- 1/2 c. Carolina long grain rice
- 3 c. water with 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 pt. heavy cream
- 1 pt. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Place rice in water with salt and butter.

2Simmer down until stiff, about 1/2 hour, after it comes to a boil.

3While rice is boiling, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla together.

4After rice is stiff, add cream and milk and boil 20 minutes, mixing continually. Add egg/sugar mixture to rice.

5Bring to boil; take off stove and cool.

6Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
