- 4 c. milk
- 1 c. water
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. short grain rice (River Rice)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Put 4 cups milk, 1 cup water and rice in heavy pan on high heat; do not stir!

2Just before it is ready to boil, add 1/2 cup rice and stir.

3(Do not let come to boil before adding rice; will not thicken if it does.)

4Let boil on medium heat until rice is cooked, about 20 minutes.

5Beat altogether eggs, vanilla and milk. Stir into rice mixture and bring to boil.

6Cook for about a minute.

7Pour into Pyrex dish and top with cinnamon.
