Rice Pudding

  • 1/2 c. River rice
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1 egg

Directions

    Combine rice and milk; cook over low heat until rice is tender (approximately 40 minutes).

    Combine remaining ingredients and beat well.

    Spoon egg mixture slowly into rice mixture and return to heat.
  4. 4
    When it looks as if it will boil, remove and top with cinnamon.
