  • 1 bag Bamboo shoots
  • 1 tbsp Flavoring Ingredient: Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sake
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil

Directions

    Bring the bamboo shoots to a boil in water, fill up with fresh water and bring to a boil again to get rid of the chemical smell.

    Let them cool in the water, then drain in a colander.

    Stir-fry the bamboo shoots in sesame oil on high heat for 1 minute.

    Add the flavoring ingredients and continue stir-frying on medium heat.

    After 5 minutes, only the oil will remain.

    Cook for another 2 minutes.

    Let sit for 5 minutes to let the flavors blend.
