  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. milk
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash of nutmeg
  • raisins
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Cook rice, water and salt over medium heat until the water is dissolved.

    Remove from heat.

    Add milk, eggs and sugar.
  4. 4
    Add vanilla, nutmeg, raisins and butter.

    Mix well.

    Put into a pan greased with butter.

    Set pan in another pan half full of water. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
