- 1/2 gal. milk
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. rice
- 1 egg
- 1/2 pt. heavy cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 oz. Amaretto (optional)
- cinnamon
Directions

1Bring milk, butter and sugar to a slow boil.

2Add rice.

3Lower flame to simmer and cook 45 minutes.

4Stir often.

5Beat together the egg, cream, vanilla and Amaretto (if using) and add to the cooked rice.

6Mix thoroughly.

7Put in a serving dish and let cool. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

8Refrigerate.
