  • 1 c. rice (makes 2 c. cooked rice)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 stick melted butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • raisins, if desired

Directions

    Cook 1 cup of rice and set aside.

    Mix eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla or lemon flavoring and milk together.

    Add to rice.

    Cook to 350° for 50 minutes to 1 hour, until brown.
