- 1 c. cooked rice (heated with 1 Tbsp. margarine)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
- 3 eggs
- 2 c. milk
Directions

1Spread rice in bottom of casserole dish.

2Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar or more if you like it sweeter.

3Sprinkle nutmeg over this and add 1 tablespoon vanilla.

4Stir in 1/2 cup raisins.

5Mix up 3 eggs with 2 cups whole milk or diluted canned milk.

6Pour this mixture over rice and stir.

7Set in pan of water to bake at 350° to 400° for about an hour.
