  • 1 c. lentils
  • 6 c. water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • dash of allspice
  • 1/2 c. rice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 large onion, chopped

Directions

    Saute onion in oil until brown.

    At the same time, cook lentils in water with salt and garlic.

    After browning onion, add to lentils, along with rice, olive oil and allspice.

    Cover pan; cook about 15 minutes, or until creamy.
