Ingredients
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 stick oleo
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. or cakes yeast
- 1 egg
- 4 c. unsifted flour
Directions

1Scald milk; stir in sugar, salt and oleo.

2Cool to lukewarm. Put warm water into large warm bowl.

3Sprinkle in yeast; stir until dissolved.

4Stir in lukewarm milk mixture, egg and half the flour.

5Beat until smooth.

6Stir in remaining flour to make a stiff batter.

7Cover tightly with foil.

8Refrigerate at least 2 hours.

9Dough may be kept in refrigerator for 3 days.
