- 2 c. sugar
- 1 stick melted butter
- 2 Tbsp. ReaLemon juice
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix sugar, flour, melted butter and lemon extract until smooth.

2Add eggs, one at a time and beat.

3Then add buttermilk and mix until creamy.

4Pour into deep 9-inch unbaked pastry shell. Cook 10 to 15 minutes at 450° (until set).

5Reduce heat and finish baking at 300° until knife comes clean when tested (about 45 minutes).

6Sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired.
