Roasted Cornish Hens

- 1/3 c. margarine or butter, melted
- 1 tsp. dried snipped chives
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried thyme, rosemary, crushed
- 3 (1 to 1 1/2 lb.) Cornish game hens, halved
Directions

1Combine margarine, chives and thyme.

2Rinse hens.

3Pat dry. Place hens, breast side up, on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Brush with some margarine and herb mixture.

4Cover loosely with foil.

5Roast in 375° oven for 30 minutes.

6Roast, uncovered, 45 to 60 minutes more, brushing three times during roasting with the herb mixture.
