Roasted Pecans(Very Good)

  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 lb. or 4 c. pecan halves

Directions

    Melt oil and butter on large cookie sheet or broiler tray. (Cannot be sideless as the butter-oil mixture will run out.) Sprinkle with salt. Spread pecans over pan in single thickness and stir to coat them with butter-oil mixture.

    Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Add more salt, if necessary.
