Roasted Salsa Verde

  • 1.5 # tomatillos, husked & washed
  • 1 small-medium onion, quartered
  • 5-6 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro, stems cut
  • 1 jalapeno, stemmed & halved
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

    1. Preheat broiler

    2. cut tomatillos in half and place cut-side down on a foil lined baking sheet. Broil for 8-10 minutes

    3. Place tomatillos in blender/food-processor. Add onion and garlic and process until combined. Add cilantro, jalapeno and salt and process until fully combined.

    4. Taste and add salt if necessary.
