Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. white syrup
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 tsp. flavoring
  • powdered sugar
  • 3 drops food coloring

Directions

    Sift powdered sugar over table (cover table well).

    Boil sugar, water and syrup to 310° (hard crack).
  3. 3
    Take off heat and add flavoring and coloring.
  4. 4
    Stir quickly because candy will harden quickly after removed from heat.
  5. 5
    Pour over powdered sugar. Cool and break.
