- 6 to 8 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion
- 2 Tbsp. oil or shortening
Directions

1Pound steak on both sides.

2Cut into 3-inch strips.

3Place a strip of bacon and a slice of onion on each strip.

4Fold over and tie with thin string.

5Heat oil or shortening in skillet over medium heat.

6Flour meat and brown in skillet.

7Add a little water and simmer for 1 hour.

8Yields 6 to 8 servings.
