Roll No-Crust Chicken Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, deboned (do not salt chicken when stewing!)
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

    If using self-rising flour, omit the baking powder.

    Spray pan or baking dish that is 2-inches deep.

    Place chicken in dish and pour melted butter over it.

    Boil 1 3/4 cups chicken broth and add cubes.

    Mix dry ingredients; add milk and blend until smooth. Pour this over chicken.

    Into broth with cubes, add soup.

    Have boiling hot, pour over other ingredients.

    Bake at 375° for about 1 hour or until brown.
