  • 1 c. mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water saved from cooked potatoes
  • 1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 1 c. milk, scalded and cooled
  • about 5 c. flour

Directions

    Put potatoes through sieve to avoid lumps in potatoes.

    Add enough flour to make a soft dough (about 5 cups).

    Let rise until double in size.

    Make into rolls and bake in a 375° oven.

    This will keep in refrigerator for several days.
