- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 6 Tbsp. shortening (I use vegetable oil)
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 6 c. sifted flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water.

2Add shortening, sugar and salt. Stir in the flour.

3(I reserve 1/2 cup of the flour to use while making out the rolls.)

4Let the batter rise for 1 1/2 hours in warm area.

5Make out in small ball shapes.

6Place in pan.

7Let rise for 1 1/2 hours.

8Bake at 425°.
