Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. plain flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2In large bowl put shortening, sugar and salt.

3Pour boiling water over and stir until shortening is dissolved and mixture is just warm.

4Add flour and yeast.

5Stir until all flour is mixed well.

6Place in a greased bowl.

7Cover, let rise.

8Roll out on floured paper or pinch off balls.

9Flatten and put in greased pan, let rise.

10Bake at 350° until done.
