- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 yeast cakes
- 6 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 7 c. flour (approximately)
- 1 c. lukewarm water
Directions

1Mix cooled milk, shortening, sugar and salt.

2Add eggs.

3Mix yeast with 1 tablespoon sugar in the warm water.

4Add flour.

5Let rise.

6Knead down.

7Shape into rolls.

8Put in greased tins.

9Let rise.

10Bake 12 to 15 minutes until brown in 400° oven.
