Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. mashed potatoes
- 1/2 c. scalded milk
- 1 egg
- 3 to 4 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water.

2Cream the shortening, sugar, salt and eggs.

3Add lukewarm scalded milk and potatoes to yeast.

4Stir these ingredients together.

5Add sifted flour to make a stiff dough and knead.

6Place in a large bowl which has been greased with oil. Turn to grease top also.

7Let rise to double in bulk in warm place. Knead again slightly.

8Place in bowl and refrigerate.

9One hour before baking, make into rolls and let rise.

10Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
