- .7 lb ground beef
- .3 lb sausage
- 1 egg
- 1 cup grated parmesan or pecorino romano
- 3.5 oz fontina cheese
- .5 c breadcrumbs
- .5 loaf leftover bread soaked in milk
- 1 tbsp. salt
- pepper
- garlic
- EVOO
- 1 glass dry whitewine
- fresh herbs
Directions

1combine ingredients thoroughly and let sit for a half hour.

2form into meatballs and roll them in breadcrumbs

3saute garlic in EVOO over low heat

4brown meatballs over medium high heat until brown on the outside but not cooked inside

5add wine
-
6high heat - let wine evaporate. Should take 10-15 min and cook the meatballs through.

7add herbs and cover. If they dry out, add a little water.
