- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 qt. half and half
- 5 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Melt butter in large, stainless or heavy pan.

2Add flour and salt, stirring to mix, then add half and half very slowly, stirring constantly.

3Heat and stir until it thickens.

4Remove from heat and add sugar.

5Melt 1/4 cup butter and pour over Rommegrot in serving bowl.

6Also, sprinkle top with sugar and cinnamon.

7Makes 5 cups.

8Freezes nicely.
