- 1 medium head red cabbage, shredded (about 6 c.)
- 3 tart cooking apples
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions

1In a large pan, cook cabbage, apples, salt and pepper in a small amount of boiling water over medium-low heat, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes or until apples are tender.

2Drain.

3Return to saucepan. Add vinegar, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.

4Heat through. Stir to combine.
