- 2 c. sugar
- 4 1/2 tsp. root beer extract
- 1/2 cake yeast
- 1 gal. lukewarm water
Directions

1Mix sugar and extract.

2Dissolve yeast in small amount of water.

3Add to sugar mixture.

4Add 1 gallon lukewarm water and mix very well.

5Store in a dark, cool place for 24 hours or longer. This can be bottled and capped after yeast has stopped working which would be longer than the 24 hours mentioned.
