  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 to 3 cloves peeled garlic
  • 1 frying chicken, washed, quartered, dried and skinned
  • 1 small branch rosemary
  • salt
  • fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Heat butter and oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

    Add garlic and chicken; saute until chicken is browned.

    Add rosemary, salt, pepper, wine and water.

    Cook slowly until chicken is tender (approximately 20 minutes).
