- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 to 3 cloves peeled garlic
- 1 frying chicken, washed, quartered, dried and skinned
- 1 small branch rosemary
- salt
- fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Heat butter and oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

2Add garlic and chicken; saute until chicken is browned.

3Add rosemary, salt, pepper, wine and water.

4Cook slowly until chicken is tender (approximately 20 minutes).
