  • 1 c. ice water
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg (unbeaten)

    Sift flour before measuring.

    Mix all the other ingredients together and then stir in slowly the flour.

    Beat until smooth. Heat oil to 350°.

    Heat iron in oil and pat on paper towel.
