- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- oil (for deep frying)
- icing sugar
Directions

1Make the rosette iron hot by dipping it in hot oil.

2Dip iron in batter.

3Dip iron in hot oil again and in about 30 seconds, gently pry batter off the iron with a fork until it falls away from the iron into the hot oil.

4Fry until light golden brown.

5Remove from oil and drain on paper towel.

6When cool sprinkle with icing sugar.
