Rosted Garlic Hummus

  • 2 (15 ounce) cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 14 cup tahini
  • 2 lemons, juice of
  • 23 cup water
  • 1 cup roasted garlic
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • paprika (to garnish)

Directions

    Combine the drained and rinsed chickpeas in a blender with the water, tahini, lemon juice and roasted garlic.

    Preferably homemade roasted garlic, about 4 heads.

    Pulse the blender and if you have an old one like me stir every so often to combine the ingredients before pulsing some more.

    Pulse to your desired consistency.

    Less water can be used for a thicker hummus.

    Garnish with paprika before serving with pita chips, veggies or anything else you desire.
