Ingredients
- 2 lb. chili meat or lean ground beef
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. cumin, ground
- 1/4 tsp. garlic, granulated
- 1/8 tsp. oregano powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel tomatoes and green chilies
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cans water
Directions

1Place meat into a large saucepan and cook to a light gray color (grease may be drained).

2Add chopped onion, chili powder, cumin, garlic, oregano and salt.

3Stir thoroughly and heat for 1 to 2 minutes.

4Stir in tomatoes and green chilies, whole tomatoes and water.

5Bring to boil; reduce heat and cover.

6Simmer for 1 hour.

7Serves 6.
