- rump roast, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- flour
- onions or pearl onions
- bacon
- oil
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Pound roast slices in flour.

2Put one slice of onion (or pearl onions) and 1/4 or 1/2 slice of bacon in each slice.

3Roll the meat up and secure with toothpicks.

4In an electric frypan, place 2 tablespoons oil and brown meat on all sides.

5Remove the meat and place on a skewer.
-
6Add flour to drippings; brown and add 1 cup water.

7Put beef back in this gravy.

8Simmer for at least 1 hour.
