Royal Plum Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. Royal raspberry gelatin
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 3/4 c. cold water
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. each ground ginger and ground cloves
  • 3/4 c. each finely chopped apple and seedless raisins
  • 1/2 c. well drained crushed pineapple (1 small can)
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/4 c. chopped pitted dates

Directions

    Dissolve the Royal raspberry gelatin and salt in boiling water. Add cold water, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Chill until slightly thickened. Stir in apples, raisins, pineapple, pecans and dates.

    Pour into 4-cup mold. Chill until firm.

    Unmold. Serve with Brandy Hard Sauce.
