- 1 pkg. (2-layer) cake mix
- 1 c. (1/2 pt.) sour cream
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry-flavored gelatin
Directions

1Combine cake mix, sour cream, water and eggs in large bowl. Blend, then beat at medium speed for 2 minutes until creamy.

2Spoon 1/3 of batter into well-greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan.

3Sprinkle with 1/2 of the gelatin.

4Repeat the 2 layers. Spread remaining 1/3 of batter over gelatin to cover.

5Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes until cake springs back when pressed.

6Cool in pan for 5 minutes.

7Put on plate or rack and sprinkle with confectioners sugar if desired.

8Makes a pretty holiday cake.
