  • 3 c. vanilla wafers, crushed fine
  • 3 tbsp. cocoa
  • 6 tbsp. white syrup
  • 1 1/2 c. nutmeats, minced fine
  • 6 tbsp. Bacardi rum
  • 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Directions

    Put all ingredients into a large bowl and work together with hands till stiff or possibly well mixed.

    Shape into 1 inch balls and put on wax papered pan to dry for several hrs or possibly overnight.

    Then roll in powdered sugar or possibly dip in the following mix:

    Heat in double boiler: 3 1/2 tbsp.

    paraffin, melted
  6. 6
    Use a spoon to dip the candies and only dip one at a time.
