- 1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1 (3 ounce) package vanilla instant pudding mix
- 4 eggs
- 23 cup rum, divided
- 12 cup pecans
- 12 cup cold water
- 12 cup oil
- 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
Directions

1Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, water and 1/3 cup of the rum (save the other third cup of rum for icing).

2Beat for 10 minutes.

3Sprinkle 1/2 cup pecans on bottom of greased Bundt pan.

4Bake 325 degrees for one hour.

5Remove from pan.

6While the cake is hot pour glaze over it.

7To make glaze heat 1 stick butter, 1/4 cup water, 1 cup sugar.

8Boil for minute, remove from heat and then add rum.
