- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
Directions

1Combine yolks and sugar in medium saucepan.

2Gradually add cornstarch and vanilla.

3Add hot milk, whisking constantly.

4Cook over very low heat or in double boiler, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 5 minutes.
