- 1 c. shortening
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. butter flavoring
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. rum flavoring
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Cream the sugar and shortening.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Combine flour, salt and baking powder.

4Add flour mixture alternately with milk and flavorings; beat well.

5Pour in greased tube pan.

6Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
